Flu Shots

We still have flu shots and FluMist available. Call our office to schedule your child's immunization. We will continue giving shots throughout the flu season. Do not forget that if your child is less than 9 years old and did not get a flu shot in the 2010-11 season, it is recommended that he/she recieve 2 doses this season in order to be fully protected.

Notes:

• Flu shots are recommended for all children from 6 months to 18 years old.
• FluMist (nasal spray) is available for children over 2 years old who do not have chronic health problems, such as asthma.
• Bring your insurance card or medicaid card to your vaccination appointment.
• Flu shots and Flumist are for patients of Mountain View Pediatrics only.
• The H1N1 (Swine Flu) strain is included in this year's seasonal flu shot.
