Dr. Gonzalez is a board certified pediatrician and a graduate of North Carolina State University and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He joined Mountain View Pediatrics in 2003 after completing his pediatric residency at Palmetto-Richland Memorial Hospital, under the direction of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. His wife is also a physician in Morganton. He has special interests in childhood obesity as well as adolescent and sports medicine. Dr. Gonzalez is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
